dotoo: To-do lists V1.1 Jul 15, 2006 10:50:04 PM

This little widget allows you to keep an eye on things that need to be done.

Changes in v1.1
- Nicer user interface
- Editing of existing lists and to-do's
- Some usability improvements (form focus, tooltips)

I'm still working on synchronization of your lists between multiple computers, so don't forget to keep an eye on widget too

Could You write few lines of code that widget will remember position of the window for mini-mode and different for expanded? because I want put mini widget on down part of monitor and it should expand to the center - and of course minimize down and so on...

Now I have to move expanded widget manually to see it

But it's good work for sure, keep workin' ;]

It's great, but please add priorities or at least let the user re-order the tasks manually.

Are you still accepting feature requests? I'd like:

1. ability to choose task/list by clicking on row (not name)
2. notes for tasks (as requested above)
3. date and time input, and possibly a calendar output?

Great work, tamster

Wow.. Lovely Widget
I have some Suggestions too.

1) show tasks in main window. f.e. in tree-mode to have a better overview.
2) add subtasks in single tasks (like mentioned)
3) give priority and an end-date
4) maybe a calendar-mode to see when tasks run out.
5) alarm-mode (as mentioned before)
6) an "always on top mode" f.e. an icon which pops up the widget on mouse-hover.

well done anyway, i really like that one

I'd love to be able to prioritize items on my list or to change the order after I've added them!

I would like to be able to expand the lists without hiding the other lists such that you could see items in several lists at once.

tamster: Now I understand and it works !
Thanks a lot. Your widget is a pretty little tool :-))

I'd like to add items without using lists

grisbois: You can add items by clicking the same (+) button when in list

Hallo
I'm new in the widget world with Opera 9.1.
The first I tryed is the "dotoo" by tamster.
But where is the help about using this widget:
I can create "lists" but how to add "items" in a list ?
Thanks in advance, grisbois

Is it possible to import/synchronize Opera's notes and mails labelled ToDo? (probably not, but I'm just dreaming

Great work :D

but I cant move the widget to the bottom-right corner of the screen because my system doesn't allow a window to be halfway outside the screen, and the widget window is actually bigger than the widget.

I would like to have nested to-do lists, so tasks can consist of subtasks (with several levels), so if all the subtasks are done, the task is done.

Dont know if it already was suggested, but i would prefer that the groups act like a tree you can expand. What i mean is, i realy like to see my whole tasks BUT have the ability to hide a group of tasks that are not important/annoying right now. In my opinion are the task lists as they are now the only minus of this plugin, otherwise it would be a bit better than the other to-do plugin (except that it already supports a priority flag, that's pretty cool, too) Though, thumbs up for this plugin. Hope for an update soon

This is a nice widget, but it's not bug free. I filled up the list with quite a few items. I used it for about a week, and one day I cleared history and restarted my computer only to learn that everything I input was gone.

This is a neat widget. I was wondering, is there any way to add items to a list without having to click on the "+" every time?

For instance, if I add a new item, it automatically closes the add item text box so that I need to re-open it every time.

Is there a shortcut key or something to make this a little easier?

Thanks.
