Downloads flash video from YouTube, Google, MySpace etc.
TO START DOWNLOAD YOU NEED TO RIGHT CLICK AND THAN SAVE LINKED CONTENT AS..! NEW!!! Addon for opera 11+ Click Here >>> Flash Video Downloader helps you to download embedded flash video from YouTube-like video sharing websites with no download link available. Currently supported sites: YouTube (youtube.com), Google Video (video.google.com), DailyMotion (dailymotion.com), Metacafe (metacafe.com), Break.com (break.com), Blip.tv (blip.tv), Spike (spike.com) and 250+ other youtube like sites!! Now you can download Flash Games from: gamespot.com, community.games.com, armorgames.com, net-games.biz, gamesvine.com, zoopgames.com, flashgames247.com We added Flash video converter.. Flash Video Converter Converts flash video files (*.flv) to AVI, 3GP, WMV, MOV, PSP
You could do the following things to get a mp3 file: - download the video, search for "mp4 demux" or "flv demux" - extract the audio stream of the video-file-container(flv or mp4) - search for a converter for the used audio stream (e.g. "mp4a to mp3 converter) (this step could decrease quality!)
but i think all of these steps can be done with FVD Suite ^^
great work, thx suggestions: - would be nice if it could download youtube videos with opera 9, too - and maybe it could be useful to see a few more informations about the video before downloading, like the used audio/video codec, resolution, bitrate, etc. (if possible) ^^
We're working on the new version which will work with youtube. It' takes time to get approved in opera. If you need to download from youtube and convert video try for a while our desktop solutions Fvd Suite: http://www.flashvideodownloader.org/fvd-suite/ It's more powerful than any widget or plugin. And as i said new version of widget will be here soon
Unfortunately, Flash Video Downloader no longer works if you are using Opera V10.50 or V10.51. It worked fine under 10.01 (and below) and proved to be the most useful widget ever written. Now, when you try to run it all you get is the Flash Video Downloader banner and what looks like menu option that does nothing of any consequence, except close the banner and this now non-running widget.
I sincerely hope that the writer of this widget, Artur Dubovoy, can fix/re-write this widget so that it can once again be the most useful widget ever written.
So, new version doesn't work correctly under Opera 10.5 widget runtime. I've send information about that to ArturDubovoy about 3 weeks a go... without resonse... Artur, can you send me a message with answer to my PM?
i'm trying to contact opera support to aprove new versions but i don't get any response. BTW this week will be ready new version with YOUTUBE DOWNLOAD support.
dude, it's great, but how making a widget something like the DownloadHelper addon for firefox - it automatically recognises any flash content on ANY website and u can click on the icon and choose what to do with it
i'm sure you have heard about/used this before. if not, i suggest you try it and see if its possible to port it into opera, coz if it is possible, it would make opera even better than it already is. this addon for firefox was actually the only reason i was using firefox
Your red comment doesn't work got a web page !!!! Must use the launch button. I installed it a couple of times and have the same trouble. Window is not complete, looks like a bar and text is ouside. What is that mess?

It's very hard to do it in widgets (I don't think that it's possible).
