Hiall!

I use contarc's edited version --- thx contarc --- ( http://files.myopera.com/contarc/files/multiGmail.wgt ) but it does not manage multiaccount.

Has anybody SSL always-on powered, multiaccount version?

MultiGmail has been retrieving my 3 Gmailaccounts without any problem. It suddenly stopped working for one of my accounts, apparently being unable to log in. The other two are being retrieved as before.

It suddenly stopped working for me. Did google changed anything?

Tks JMS1024
This has fixed the problem.
It should be a little clearer for others now.

POKDUB - I just tried it and found that if you don't fill in the OPT box (under login name and password in the setting screen) then it will default to "label: HOME", which if you don't have that label, the widget will show zero unread.

To get it to show how many unread in my INBOX, I had to put INBOX in the OPT field when I setup the account. This then worked correctly.

Additionally I suppose that now you can put ANY label you have in the OPT field and keep track of unread items in any label you use - which is really handy if you auto-filter any incoming mail so that it wouldn't ever even reach the INBOX area.

Hope this helps.

As outlined below with other users, the Widget only shows ZERO unread messages in my gmail accounts, when there are many unread.

It would be useful for some comments back which give direction on this issue.

Hey contarc, thanks a lot for your modification! Now it works perfectly for me!

This doesn't seem to handle proxies...can that be updated?

By cedillo , # Nov 10, 2008 1:15:54 AM

The widget shows all accounts with zero, but there are unread messages.
Am I doing something wrong? How can the debugger problem?

Very nice idea and very useful. Thanks for the widget.

Great widget. Unfortunately, it hasn't been updated in a while. I use the SSL always-on gmail feature which is not supported by the widget, so I changed the URLs from http to https to allow connection to SSL always-on accounts, and since gmail supports SSL for all accounts, it works for all accounts.

If interested, my editted widget can be found here.

By rshaw , # Sep 10, 2008 9:05:48 PM

31 unread in the inbox and the widget displays a zero ? what, it only counts mail from the time it's launched? i guess thats handy for people that keep their browser open at all times. lame..
