thanks Cecilia!... I didn´t want to look for this lines in the code... so it was very helpful, but I have W7 and the only change is in the path:
C:\Users\leo\AppData\Local\multiWeather\js

By leoalassia@gmail.com , # Apr 5, 2010 11:44:12 PM

will there be a upgrade of this any time soon....

"It would be very helpful if somebody actually were to post exactly how to fix the missing degree sign."

well, I know nothing, but I figured I'd go looking to see if I could figure this out.

I opened this file (this is in Windows2000, XP may be slightly different):
C : /Documents and Settings/cecilia/Local Settings/Application Data/multiWeather/js/script.js

I replaced the the degree symbol with "°" in this line:
document.getElementById("unit"+i).innerHTML = "°"+unit;

this seems to have worked.

I replaced the degree symbol with "°" in this line:

document.getElementById("miniTemp"+i).innerHTML = "<span style='font-size:8pt;'>&deg;"+unit+"</span>
"+temperature;

and in this line:

document.getElementById("feel"+i).innerHTML = '<span style="color:'+color+';">Feel: </span><span style="color:inherit;">'+feelLike+"&deg;+unit+"";

seems to have worked

The best weather widget out there. Thank you. :-)

It would be very helpful if somebody actually were to post exactly how to fix the missing degree sign.

The degree symbol can be easily fixed. I just did it. The author should too.

There should be a feature that double-clicking a found place name would add it to the list.

Haven't found any other bugs. Works well :yes:

By ersi , # Mar 27, 2010 9:57:29 AM

nice widget but degree sign is not shown.

By hundredorzero , # Mar 26, 2010 7:11:28 AM

Like TedBeer said, try with &deg; and UTF-8 encoding.

Other than that, it's a really neat Opera Widget!

By jan86 , # Mar 26, 2010 4:31:52 AM

Please use html entity &deg; instead of the degree sign in your script.

theres alot of things that dont work in 10.50 including loading google mail thats why i downloaded 10.10 again i suggest thats what everyone should do until opera corrects the problems

By anonyy , # Mar 14, 2010 5:30:54 PM

once it's included in default installation it IS Opera's problem...i've been using Opera for a long-long time, so it's not like it would put me off. it's just that this widget worked well on 10.10 and after upgrade it doesn't

By janhalik , # Mar 12, 2010 3:08:38 PM

not working in 10.5 cant fetch data gives "error" and "check network" . By the wway janhalik its not opera team its individual oepra widget maker so dont blame entire Opera for it. Plus you have given your feedback on the widget not gives some time for the developer to fix it jeez...

By techlawsam , # Mar 5, 2010 11:30:13 PM

doesn't work on final 10.50....but it's in default installation. i'm not used to such unprofessionalism from Opera team....PITY

By janhalik , # Mar 2, 2010 11:53:52 AM

doesnt work in RC4 giving a "error"

By techlawsam , # Mar 1, 2010 7:48:49 PM

By techlawsam , # Feb 28, 2010 4:42:38 PM
