Get quick and easy access to your Twitter account with Twiget. Get live updates from Twitter, post to and read from your Twitter feed — plus a whole lot more!
I love this widget but it does need some improvements.
One thing that bugs me is that I have to click on links twice for them to open and for doing this I'll always end up opening more than one tab at the same time.
I read you're going to add lists and some other features soon, I can't wait for that! It would also be good to be able to see tweets from people nearby based on your location.
A twitpic manager would be nice too!
Keep up the good work
Edit: I forgot to ask a feature I really miss lol PLEASE make it possible to see the TT's just the same way we do on the website
Backlight mentions using green/blue colors was lost. Why?
Keep my old suggestions, specially:
- Autocomplete to mentions and replies - Thread history based in replies (A reply to B and B reply to C; thread shows A > B > C) - My Tweets tab (no use search "from:user") - Show "via app" (Web, Gravity, Twiget) in each tweet, as website. - Allow map as default view in geotagged tweets (actually is satellite) - Allow inline image/pictures view clicking thumbnails - Inline views to profiles, timelines, hashtag searches, and others like old Twitter widget.
- no lists - no option to view the list of your followers or the people you are following - no options to add, remove or block users - no quick preview of user profiles and a user's tweets (browser opened instead) - reloading the timeline or doing a search can take several minutes, using up 50-70% CPU on my PC - no access to searches saved in Twitter account - no access to your fav'd tweets - field to enter tweets is very small - no option to switch between several Twitter accounts easily - lacking options to be notified when new tweets or direct messages arrive - crashed one time while testing - continued to show timeline from first account after switching to another account without restarting
I'm sorry, I even have Twitter apps on my mobile with superior functionality. Using Twiget, I always find myself switching to the Twitter webpage managing all the things Twiget is not able to (yet). So, in current state, Twiget is of no use for me. I uninstalled it.
: Just click "Login", a browser window will be opened connected to your Twitter account already logged in or allowing you to login at this moment. Allow Twiget to connect to your Twitter account and copy the PIN code shown in the browser window back to Twiget.
Is it possible that instead of opening a new browser window for obtaining the pin number, it opens in the widget itself. i mean first screen "sign-in" button with user-name/password fields and the "sign-in" button and on click of it, it generates internally the PIN number and executes the 2nd query for pin number automatically by itself??
After update Оpera to the 11 version In widget some avatars aren't shown. Its very sad, fix this bug please.
