just tried it again with the same result, clicked every tab from the left to the right and back again, tweets were gone. But then, they appeared again. Maybe it's just the twitter API which gets stuck from time to time. Will keep an eye on it! ;-)
makadalla, I cannot reproduce that problem. Can you try again and see if it was just temporary? If you can reproduce it again, please leave a bug report at http://widgets.opera.com/bug/7206/3.20/create/?page_index=None (as detailed as you can). Thanks!
I've just installed the newest version and it worked well until i started to switch between the tabs. At the beginning, 'Recent', 'Replies', 'Direct' and 'Archive' were filled with lots of tweets. Then I clicked on 'Near' and 'Search' and back on the first four tabs and: No tweets, all gone! Maybe you could check that...?!
After a long time of promising to implement direct messages, it has finally been done. It's also possible to specify how many tweets that should be displayed.
I saw that after I sent the message. I'm here though if you want the help. I was thinking of putting the DM link under the avatar or near the name instead of in the menu bar. The history is OK to put in the menu bar IMO. That is unless you wanted to put a lost of history navigation in like page numbers or first, previous, next and last page. Then I think it would do OK on the bottom bar. Whatever you decide to do I'll be waiting for the update.
johndgeek, DM and history is already implemented, just need some minor fixing. We could probably release an intermediate release until we figure out a better UI for those. I will hopefully be able to do that in the not so distant future.
What would you say to someone who wanted to work on this widget? Maybe fork the development or add to what is already here? I would really love to help get Direct messages and ReTweets added as well as an option to view older history.
, no, unfortunately I don't really have any suggestions. It could maybe be a problem with your composite manager (if you're using one), but it's hard to tell. Do you have problems with other widgets?
I am running Opera Version 9.62 under Fedora Core 10 Linux. When I run this widget, all I get is a gray square on the upper left corner. Any suggestions?

Hope you like it.
