I don't know if this has been asked before, so here I go.
When the widget asks for the credentials, does it use secure http to connect to twitter.com? I wouldn't like my credentials come and go naked... If not, could it be implemented?
Hi guys. Just posting to say that yes, I'm still alive. Unfortunately, I don't have much time to work on this widget right now, so bug fixes/feature requests will have to wait for some time. Sorry.
Found a bug: when clicking RT on a tweet that contains the larger than symbol <, it will appear in the textbox as & l t ; (without spaces). I suppose all HTML entities are not properly decoded.
Firstly: i like your widget. twitter is a pain to use unless it is always in your face and accessible. that said, is there anyway you can shrink the minimum size, it's kinda big and takes up space on my [15 inch] screen. I like to float these kind of windows... just saying a minimized or drop downable would be nice, you know, just the top part and pull down the tweets...
Seondly: it took me a lot of personal strength not to mention how much the person below comes off as a pretentious pomp. oh wait, i did. go refresh your FB page again, maybe someone wrote you something.
Great widget; it's my default Twitter client and it's incredibly quick and useful! :-)
Just one feature request: could you please make a "Notify on new mentions" option or something? The current notify option is not really useful to me, because a notification will be there every two minutes anyway since I follow a lot of people. Only having a notification on a new tweet in which I'm mentioned would be a lot more useful. :-)
*I'm only posting this here because the Bugs page is giving me a `500 Internal server' message*
Hi!
Thanks for the widget! I'm running Win98 with Opera 9.21 (the later versions slows my already doomed computer to something worse than a crawl) and whenever I get this screen (link: http://machinesmith.googlepages.com/twitterwidgeterror.jpg)
For nowI've switched to Twippera which works so far, Is there anyway around? Not sure if this will help but my system is an AMD K6II ~500Mhz with 64MB RAM (and no I can't upgrade yet) Is WIndows 98 out of the question? Awaiting your response thanks!
Great Opera widget for Twitter...! Suggestion: can you retain the last few searches...I have to keep typing in the same text for searches I did earlier...

Am on opera 10 beta + unite build for windows..
After i provide my credentials .. it tries to login and gives me this error
"Unable to connect ..."
Does the widget use the settings in the browser or does it try to connect directly ?
Am under a proxy and am guessing thats the issue
