experttease, the license permits anyone to modify it and release it. I want to work on it, and I know that it's badly in need of an update, but at the moment I'm busy with other projects unfortunately.
can you not give it to someone else to develop? It's in need of updating. The new 'lists' feature of twitter is really useful so at the moment I'm not using the widget even though I'd prefer to. Also, widgets have generally been quite slow, but since the widget desktop apps build I've been running them seperately and a hacked twitter widget from Hades32 with native OS chrome is much faster, but in his own words it's an 'ugly hack'.
It's cool, and it works, but on XP, and like too many other apps, it doesn't deal with non-standard (96 dpi) resolution well, with the buttons on the top mostly hidden.
This doesn't seem to be working for me at all. Everytime I try to login, it sends me to an error page right away. After I refresh it keeps saying that it's logging into Twitter, but doesn't actually do anything. I know that I'm putting my info in correctly, so what's the problem?
Twitter Direct Messages seem to support far more than the usual 140 letters. Can you build in support for that? PS: I guess some decrypter for shortened URLs (bit.ly etc.) is impossible?
This is very helpful to me when my laptop is anchored to a second display. It's not Tweet Deck, but certainly useful for day to day twitter interaction. I would like the option of minimalizing.
It seems to me that the blinking in the statusbar when someone tweets is broken in Opera 10. Also, if I'm trying to change "Tweets displayed" in Opera 10, I have to navigate the dropdown with my up and down arrows on my keyboard and everything else is "frozen" and doesn't react to mouse clicking, ALT+TAB and so on. Really strange.
I prefer the setup firefox has for this type of extention...It can stay in your toolbar at the bottom, you can change the color scheme, and have a sound notification...do you think maybe we could see that in the near future? I only recently switched to Opera, so I'm still trying to figure everything out.

Will it ever support faves? Follows/unfollows?
Keep up the good work!
Cheers,

As mentioned by others, please consider adding "Follow" support. Also would love to see, "Via @" support...better than retweeting.
Another option to "notify on tweet" could be flash window twice in background...bringing to foreground is too disruptive in most cases, I think.
Plans to add tr.im URL shortener support via their bookmarklets (or any shortener)?
Thanks much!
