A widget to search maps at multimap.com , first you select the area you live/want to go, then click the toggle button, then search for an area in the search boxes that appear for that area.
Quicksearch usually means either an town or postcode. When found, click either + or - buttons to zoom in/out of the maps. Might be a bit buggy as if you zoom out a long way its hard to find the area you zoomed out of before.
