Chess+ uses the javascript chess engine and interface made by Sven Vahar to play chess against the computer. It has 3 difficulty levels, the ability to switch which side of the board you are on, and you can even take back your move!

Deleted new game button and about button, as neither worked. To start a new game, you will have to refresh the widget. I will be working on making a new refresh button soon.

Added Close button.

Please tell me if there is anything I should add/delete. Also, the next update (version 1.2) should be up soon. I will feature a refresh button and maybe a number of players control (it may be saved for 1.3 release). In version 2.0, I will take apart the code in order to make a config panel and will try to put the computer level, the number of players, and the rules there. I hope you enjoy this widget!

KNOWN ISSUES:

Cannot move as black.

King takes a piece when it is checkmate and then says checkmate.



I will try to get to these problems as soon as possible, but like it says below in the comments, my computer crashed and I am trying to get everything done as quickly as possible. Please hang on for a little while, I haven't forgotten!

UPDATE!!!
After the many months I have been gone, I finally got a stable OS, but have no time for this anymore. I will leave this in case another developer wants to pick up where I left off and make a better widget. I am sorry I could not continue.
