Chess+ uses the javascript chess engine and interface made by Sven Vahar to play chess against the computer. It has 3 difficulty levels, the ability to switch which side of the board you are on, and you can even take back your move!

Deleted new game button and about button, as neither worked. To start a new game, you will have to refresh the widget. I will be working on making a new refresh button soon.

Added Close button.

Please tell me if there is anything I should add/delete. Also, the next update (version 1.2) should be up soon. I will feature a refresh button and maybe a number of players control (it may be saved for 1.3 release). In version 2.0, I will take apart the code in order to make a config panel and will try to put the computer level, the number of players, and the rules there. I hope you en

I can't seem to the move them. whenever I click on the things, the entire board moves with my mouse.

It would be great if a future release would include saving/resuming the last game. Very good work by the way.

Это очень замечательний виджет. Это действительно великая игра всех времен и народов. Я ставлю самую высокую оценку этой игре. Мне нравится, что можно не только украсить "Оперу", но и провести время с ней. Когда ко мне приходят мои друзья, мы часто играем в шахматы. Теперь я могу играть в шахматы не отрываясь от работы. I like that it is possible not only to decorate "Opera" but also spend time with her. When my friends come to me, we play chess often. Now I can play chess not torn away from work. This is an issue (as stated above). I am deeply sorry for my lack of time as of late. I am trying to get opera to work on my Linux distro, and have been unsucessful as of yet...

This is really a great game, and I understand that you're swamped, but when you get around to it, when I play as black I can't take back moves. If I do, the pieces will move, but I am unable to lift any piece, as if I were in checkmate. Otherwise a great little program.

Like I said, my computer crashed, so I will not be able to do anything with this until it is fixed (I am currently using my friend's).

After downloading chess+ it would not work, all i got was half a screen. the computer would move but i could not. I'm a big chess fan so i hope this can be fixed.

I like it, but there are some problems with the endgame. When I had checkmate, the computer player would just take the attacking piece and not allow me to move after that. In the case where the computer was clearly winnning, it stalemated.

Ok, my computer that had the Chess+ stuff on it crashed, so I have to start all over on the 2 player mode. Sorry for this!!!

Actually, in chess, you are better off analizing a move slower than faster. So "slow" is just another way of saying "harder". Anyway, I updated the widget to include the correct terminalogy.

the difficult level is confusing,
slow and stupid is the same for me because someone stupid is slow

Thanks, I am *still* working on trying to get it to stop the script when in 2 player mode. I think I might have to go into the chess engine and to it that way.

If that happens, I do not know what will happen to the engine.

This chess game is great!

I really thought chess would be a too complex game to make a decent AI in javascript, but this widget is quite able to put up a good game. Impressive!
