Opera.fm V1.9 Feb 22, 2007 4:16:38 AM

This is part of my on going project to improve apon the first opera last.fm widget. It's rough around the edges, but help and requests are VERY welcome. I have decided to call this version .9 as I feel to many features are missing at this time, but with your help, I know this can be made into a great, lightweight, way to listen to music.

Is there anyway to change the look of the widget? darker text would be nice for me. I have a little trouble reading the text on the widget as it stands, but it works quite nicely

Does this play a certain station from last.fm? And what is the username of the account on last.fm?

OK. I have tried to change background myself and now I understand this transparency. Useful widget anyway.

Nice widget. I was looking for this.
Could you change background to any (not transparent) color?

I'm using Kestrel too and I can't even launch it: An error occurred when applying this file. something's wrong

Using new Opera Kestrel. Seems that the plugin doesn't work with it. I simply cannot see the plugin window at all :frown:

Hm, would love to us it but:

1. I can't type in the search-field - just doesn't work (WinXP SP2).
2. I would appreciate it if one could enter his account-name so that the tracks would be added to one's statistics. Or do I just have to login on last.fm and then start the player?

I can't see the widget, only an "x" to close it. And yes, i've already re installed it.

this is great thnx so much it obviously still has bugs bot i can still listen to some good music!!

By kennysweet, # Apr 26, 2007 3:44:03 AM

The radio works, but I cannot see it! All I get when loading the widget is a small white dot on my desktop. Cannot seem to resize, or manipulate it in any way.

Running Opera 9.10 on Ubuntu Edgy 6.10

I really like this widget and I wanted to suggest some things:

- No white on white, make it easily visible in all areas
- when I tried finding my favorite artists I only found ones that were similar, searched up Bloc Party got Babyshambles, searched up Babyshambles got Franz Ferdinand.
- Make it easier to drag around the screen.
- Here is a large and probably unreachable suggestion. Have the media player able to access radio stations of your choice and access media files from your own computer. Somewhat like Foxy Tunes.

Awesome!

I have a couple of suggestions for further improvement:
- make it draggable
- make an option to make it smaller

The volume bar works fine for me, but the close button does not.

Well I enjoy players that chomp up less memory, how ever it is almost impossible for me to read what the buttons are. The text is white on white. Would be nice to have a setting on it to make it black on white. Outside of that it's a good widget (Macro).

good widget, but obviously it is not v1.0. Some bugs persist, like cannot move the volume bar. Still, nice to listen to the music!
