This Widget is reaaaaaly good. I like it very much.. Thanks..

(Little question; can you make different alarm sounds? The existent alarm sound is not so pretty..)

; The problem should've been fixed now in version 1.1 final.

: Thanks for letting me know. I hadn't noticed this. It seems to happen only once in a while here. I'll look into it for the next version, but I don't know yet if I will be able to fix it.

One thing I have just noticed when your widget is running.

When scrolling a web page the left side of the screen splits for about 3 inches, it's not a major problem but one I thought you might want to know about.

: I have seen the same problem myself. It has only happened for me if I have more than one copy of the widget installed. Try to delete all the instances of the widget in the 'Manage widgets' window - or go to the Operaprofilewidgets directory and delete them there. Then try to reinstall.

I hope this helps!

I don't know why this problem occurs.

This would be anice widget if it would display correctly. I get a transparent frame, no matter which theme I choose, except for the Windows classic which displays correctly but it is not the best looking of them..

I'll have to write short because I'm on my way out. But...

: I know. I personally prefer Kubuntu and Windows. But I don't want to leave any users out in the cold. I'll implement more options for the window placements in the next version, so it gets better suited to Gnome, Xfce ao. as well.

: There is a clock included. Just go to Settings. In 'Date and time format' add f.eks. 'HH:mm' or 'hh:mm tt'.

Very practical & useful ... Thumbs up mate .Would be complete with a clock included

'have in the bottom right corner of their operating system' must be 'have in the bottom right corner of their WINDOWS operating system'. In my Ubuntu (gnome), the calendar is in the upper right corner. Is the same for Xubuntu. KDE is like windows

Good point, John!

Let's call it button. I have been looking for the right word for it myself.

When I started making the widget, I was just thinking of having the button displayed right above the clock that most people have in the bottom right corner of their operating system. Therefore it was natural to have the calendar displayed to the left and above this. However, I think it might be a very good idea to - as your comment implies - make more options for this. I will consider f.ex. making it possible to drag the windows relative to the button, for the next version.

Thanks for the suggestion!

I like this widget, however, when the widget is hidden and the button (not sure that is the correct description) is displayed onto of Opera and if placed at the top of opera, when clicked on the main window will not display.

The said button must always be located at the bottom of the screen.

The polls close at midnight for the Win a Wii with Opera Wiidgets competition.

If you like this widget, I would of course be very grateful if you vote for it at:

Thanks for your comments everyone

: I would really appreciate if you could elaborate a bit more. What parts of it are slow? Except from the animations, I have a hard time understanding how any parts of it can be slow. Even if you have set a thousand events, it should still be fast. The time - if you mean hours and minutes - don't show up by default. You have to configure this in the settings window.

Special thanks to dharma.sk for the help with the translations!
And really nice of you to write a blog entry about the widget, suribe

I like the look of it, but it's slow and oversized, and I can't get the time to show up. :frown:

Thanks for your comments!

Especially thanks for your blog entry and your vote for me in the Wii competition, DynaBMan!

: I have now added Chile. It was quite difficult and time consuming to compile the holiday data from information I found various places on the internet, and I don't know if I've gotten it right. I'm especially uncertain about Día del Descubrimiento de Dos Mundos, Corpus Christi and San Pedro y San Pablo. If you find any errors, please tell me.

I accidently deleted my earlier comment when trying to edit it. This widget is just the thing I have been wanting for Opera. I have tried several calendars and other ways to keep track of days or events. Time and Date really does the trick for me. I have made a blog post about it here. Keep up the good work.
