The only one calendar widget which shows holidays in my country. But now stop working. It won't to start. It's a graphic problem I think. The best calendar I have seen and used, so; PLEASE FIX IT!

What a joke. I know this is gonna sound harsh...but what the hell? I installed the thing...saw that the calendar was about half the size it should be...meaning that the controls were like half a page away from the thing..the minimize and maximize and settings buttons were what seemed like meters away from the actual app. So, while I'm trying to adjust the size the thing disappears. Nowhere to be found...maybe because I hadn't entered anything into it yet...like in previous comments. No entry, no calendar. Now, get this...I can't uninstall the damn thing either. It says it's open and I need to close it..but there is no way to close it. It's not in the task manager, it doesn't show up in a utility uninstaller, it doesn't show up anywhere and can't be uninstalled from anywhere. No uninstall in the programs menu...what the heck is this thing anyway but a pain in the ass.

I use it because of it's simplicity & having signed all public holidays for my small country.

I think that the customizable calendar widget is very interesting, well designed and I am glad that I didn't miss this widget. Hope to see more good weidgets from this site.

I noticed the behavior while I still had calendar entries, so the next time it showed up, I was able to define the entry. I don't remember if I was able to force the widget to show up. There is an operaprefs.ini file in the widget's directory that has a Gadget preferences dialog entry, with a sequence of numbers, a couple of which might specify location. You might try playing around with those.

I am also facing the problem (Opera 10.60) it's impossible to see the widget, how did you manage to define a repeating entry for each day without seeing the widget?

By cutiewalter , # Jul 10, 2010 8:48:29 PM

Great widget; like many others, I've been using it for years. The recent problems seem to have emerged when Opera changed the widget architecture, making widgets somewhat-independent applications. I've run into a number of minor problems, but the major problem I've seen is widget location. If there isn't a calendar entry for a day, the widget doesn't get displayed (maybe it is created off-screen?). I've gotten around this by defining a repeating entry for each day - at least that way, it will show up on the screen when boot my system. I am hoping, as others here have expressed, that there will be a new version of this sometime soon that will fix these bugs.

Dieses Widget benutze ich schon seit ewigen Zeiten. Allerdings funktioniert es unter Opera 10.60 (Linux) nur unzureichend: Opera läßt sich nicht schließen, solange das Widget nicht explizit beendet wurde.
Dear RKM, please make us an update for your widget.

WoW!

By fw5t45wt , # Jun 24, 2010 5:26:16 PM

I have used T&D in the past and it worked fine but it now seems riddled with bugs. As a brief history, I have not used Opera for some months and just began again with a fresh installation of v10.54 so, in fairness to rkm, it could be an interaction with the browser itself or, of course, something to do with Windows 7 to which I have also upgraded. Maybe it's time for an update to T&D.

I find every time I open Opera Time and Date doesn't open with it. If I have to download Opera again and sign in it doesn't give me my reminders, I have to go and download the Time and Date v1.32 again and re-enter every thing again.
Can this be fixed Please

By sophielea , # May 1, 2010 3:01:15 AM

Do you realize this widget has over 500000 downloads? wow! Don't get me wrong, I'm loving it. You have to admit that is impressive.
