A real-time TV guide for the United States, pulled from zap2it.com. Uses AJAX to provide nearly instantaneous (depending on your connection speed of course) scrolling across time, no reload required!
Other features: -pick your specific location and provider - not just national listings -only display your favorite channels -custom color background for different genre types -open a single channel up in a new window -click on a program and view a popup with program details -search listings (new window)
Changelog: v1.26: bugfix to deal with change in zipcode form. v1.25: *Critical update* - extensive changes to deal with zap2it's complete rewrite of their code. Favorite channels *are now* working correctly and program detail window is fixed. However, the one remaining issue is that for some reason it's stuck on eastern time, and I haven't figured out yet how to fix that..
v1.22: minor bugfix, URL changed.
v1.21: I'm not sure what happened, but somehow the v1.2 code was all messed up, including not having the change (multiple channels) that I specifically uploaded it for, and an unrelated bug that screwed up the time value.
If you're currently on 1.2, I recommend you downloa
One small feature request. Have the time blocks at the top of the display stay static as you scroll down the listings. Would be useful if you happen to scroll right a couple of times after you've already scrolled down.
One large feature request. Expand the search function to include the same fields as the advanced search on the web page. (from xx - to xx, HD, etc..) Having the search results show up in the widget like when you click on a show for info would be the ultimate in usefulness.
Thanks for the hard work. This will get used daily.
Works again, but has a new bug: when set to "Display favorite channels only" the listings are displayed with empty rows in the positions where the unmarked channels would be displayed if the option were disabled.
I downloaded the latest version (1.22) of this widget and had to customize the new version. As an aside, it would be nice if Opera supported updating an existing widget so that configuration information isn't lost and it would also be nice if the "Widget properties" pop-up window launched by the "Properties..." menu item displayed the version number. But my real concern is the customization of the latest version didn't work. When I tried to enter my postal code (which worked fine when I customized the previous version of this widget), the result was very strange behaviour. I suspect that zap2it may be deliberately trying to find ways to undermine the functionality of your widget, probably in order to force users of their web site to view their ads (which would suggest that they haven't heard of ad-blocking).

... fixed. Everything should be working now except for the strange time zone issue.

However, I also see that the program detail is now buggy. Repeated station logo and lots of text that doesn't belong.
