Cooqy eBay Shopping Widget

This is a ported version of the Cooqy eBay search engine for the Opera widget platform.

Cooqy packs an amazing amount of functionality into a widget, with everything you can possibly imagine for better eBay shopping. Custom bargain-hunting algorithms, integrated Yahoo! mapping, and photo magnifiers are just a few of the treats.

Due to an issue with the Opera widget platform's Flash support, the map markers are transparent (other Opera Flash widgets like the Pandora widget also have this problem). Also, to work around this transparency issue we had to embed a font library into the widget, resulting in increased download size and more importantly resulting in reduced sharpness compared to our standard widgets (available for start pages like Netvibes).

We experimented with making the widget re-sizable via the new Web Clip Opera widget, but the performance of the widget tanked for unknown reasons (SVG issue?). In the meantime, feel free to modify the widget size settings in the config.xml and index.html files to suit your needs.

Flash 8 or later is required. Flash 9 is recommended for the best performance.
