Solar System Clock V1.0 Oct 23, 2006 6:09:46 AM

Solar System Clock is a digital clock widget that also shows an animation of the planets in the solar system rotating around the sun (also known as an orrery).

You can tweak the speed of the animation and the viewing angle, and you even get to decide whether or not Pluto is a real planet.

The digital clock supports both 24-hour and 12-hour mode.

It's pretty, but I found it costs much of my CPU time(i.e. when I use it, the CPU usage of Opera raises).
Although I don't know if it is possible to resolve the problem, I just write what I see in the task manager.^^

Adding an option to view the planets in their current position is on my wishlist. I haven't found an easy way to do this yet though.

Pretty animation, how about one that actually shows the planets in thier present position? Probably too much to ask, but I'd love it.

Good point, perhaps I should add a "miniature" mode for the next version. You could always press the minus key to make the window smaller, but the digital clock font looks quite bad when you do this.

It is a bot too bulky to be your every day clock on top of all windows, but the idea is great
