The spread and speed could be increased, it's the best option I think. I'll see about them when I get my WidgetRacer -widget done :]

No, it's not a good idea... but that's when the game "ends" now. When one city is left, ie. the corner left or right, defending it is easy... (Just wait until the waves of missiles are very close to impact, then hit them from close range)

Yes, the correct approach is to change :
* missile spread or speed
* or number of OABM
* or OABM impact radius relative to distance

... and more points for long shots :wink:

I tried that and failed. I was unable to defend one city... could be that with some more practice I would've been able to do it.

Maybe the missile speed needs to be increased when the level goes past certain limit to increase the difficulty even more. I don't think it's a good idea to make the game end when you have only one city remaining, though.

Hmm... with only one city to defend, it's "impossible" to lose. Just to prove the point I scored > 100k before letting the game win :wink:

Maybe the rules should be changed... game over when only one city left ???

Thanks, works great!

(it is said it has to with something that we have more z-s than y-s, but in practice it just makes life harder - just think of 'Undo' as ctrl+z :-( )
Thank you in the name of all hungarian (and german, I think) players :-)

qwertz? You have a pretty intresting keyboard layout there I guess.

Here's the qwertz-edition of the game, with z replaced with y

send me a PM if the key is wrong

Stupid qwertz keyboard :-( Can you help me how to change 'z' to 'y'? That would help a lot.
Great widget, anyway.

Jadd (or anyone else having similar probs): could you post your system specs?

There's a few bells and whistles which could be removed without affecting the game much, so I could add some options for removing those if the game seems to be running too slow or such.

By zomg, # Oct 16, 2006 5:06:02 PM

Everything keeps flashing and the game's very slow. :frown:

By Jadd, # Oct 16, 2006 4:26:22 PM

oh.. I didnt realise they would explode at the spot my mouse pointer was at.. I figured they would fly high till they actually hit something.

It all makes sense.. :smile:

By gautam_chandna, # Oct 16, 2006 1:25:05 PM

gautam: easy, just practice, practice and practice.. :wink:

Nope, that behavior isn't intentional. They should blow up where you aimed when you fired them. Were the missiles close to any explosions when that happened?

By zomg, # Oct 16, 2006 0:31:44 AM

Haha great! :smile: :yes:

By aleksanteri, # Oct 16, 2006 0:09:33 AM

Aaaargh!! How did you manage to get 11820!?
[Edit]
Great widget btw :smile: simply super cool!

Question: On some levels if I try to shoot 10 missiles at the same time against the meteor shower thats being thrown at me - my missiles starting exploding only halfway up the screen.
