I find this very interesting. I know I can find a use for this at my home and business. You guys really make the neatest apps in the world. I really do appreciate everything.
The error is caused by a widget XHR bug introduced in Opera 10.60 and affects a great many widgets that request data from servers on the internet. This issue should be fixed with the 10.61 release of Opera.
Since I use Opera 10.60 (latest stable version) in Ubuntu 10.04, this widget doesn't work properly again, it always stuck in "Working" screen everytime I try to convert. So if I want to do a conversion, I have to delete this widget's installation/settings folder (in my case: "home/user/.opera-widget-universal-currency-converter"), then it starts like a freshly installed widget (everything to default) and I can do another conversion. This widget was working properly in Opera 10.60 beta.
The widget's error console reports: Uncaught exception: ReferenceError: Security violation Error thrown at line 154, column 8 in <anonymous function: convert>() in widget://wuid-518e2681-faba-028a-0f8c-662a7f71faba5af2/index.js: this.http.send("From=" + this.unit[0].value + "&To=" + this.unit[1].value + "&Amount=" + encodeURI(this.amount.value) + "&submit=submit"); called from line 112, column 52 in <anonymous function: nrmlconvert.onclick>() in widget://wuid-518e2681-faba-028a-0f8c-662a7f71faba5af2/index.js: self.convert();
The Poland Zlotych is available via the config button. Find the entry for it, and click its checkbox. Then it will appear in the dropdown of selectable currencies for conversion.
Clicking convert just shows "Working" and never finishes. Error Console shows a security violation exception in line 148, column 8. This might be because of proxy settings in my company, just wanted to report it. Pity, looks good otherwise.
Is it possible to add Latvian Lats (LVL) (couldn't find it in the config dialog)? Other than that a great conversion tool! I especially like the possibility to unselect unused currencies, so I don't have to scroll through lots of useless entries. Thanks!
Will not uninstall from your OS!
To uninstall use "Your Uninstaller! Pro" software for success!
