Have a chat with MegaHAL, the learning chat bot.

MegaHAL learns more from every conversation, so the more you talk with it, the "smarter" it will get. Hopefully!

Please don't teach Hal bad things, though. It easily gets a dirty mouth and if it gets too bad, I will have to reset it and everything it has learned will go away.

Hal has been mostly taught things in English by me and Remcolanting, but you can try to talk with it in your own language too.

You Could Make It So You Can Remove Sentances If You Need.
And The Filter Idea Above Me! And You Could Make A Mode Where Its Offline And Only Your Copy Will Be Taught Anything You Say While Offline.
That Would Keep Some People From Messing It Up.

Can you not make it filter out bad words? Make it where it won't learn them? This would be awesome to be back online.

so.. i think im just reiterating what everyone else seems to be saying.. i just dl'd it.. nothing happens.. the say button doesnt seem to be working..

if you would please update us on when you think this will be fixed..

i understand that you are agro that stupid people taught your creation inappropriate things.. but the rest of us want to goof around and appreciate the lil widgets that you make.. and there is no need to make everyone suffer because of a few ignorant people

Zomg, I'm not sure if it is just my computer, but Hal isn't answering me. I asked him: "Hello, Hal, How are you doing today?" And pressed "SAY" like 5 times but no reply. Do you know what is going wrong?
