Is it planned to add user-defined rules?

Internet Exploer, Safari, Kamakazee

Firefox never shows any results, and azureus has evidentally changed their code so the entire html code is displayed in the widget.

What a cool widget! A few comments...

- Nvidia version is listed as "1.0-9629" — what's that supposed to mean? The latest version is Forceware 93.71.
- Please add µTorrent.
- I'm not particulary fond of the graphics. If possible, something more like tamster's dotoo widget would be nice [url]http://widgets.opera.com/widget/4632. If not, then don't worry about it.

Thanks! 5-star rating *click*

świetny widget, ale wciąż mało opcji w wyborze monitorowanych programów...

By c1201298 , # Oct 27, 2006 4:09:02 PM

Widget will inform you when a newer version is available - don't worry :-)

Apache is already included here. You can find this as "httpd".

I have to think about some better configuration list since there is a lot of programms.

: you can open http://www.opera.com/download/ and check for third appear of string "<h1>Opera " in page code.

How do you pull the Opera version? I'm still new to JScript and I know you are pulling it from opera.com/download but I can't figure out how. If anyone can explain this to me, email me.

You should detect the OS of the system and check for the latest versions of the programs according to the OS.
You should add apps like:
AmaroK
Kopete
Shareaza
Apache(/2)
and why not? version check of your own widget

By atomo64 , # Oct 7, 2006 11:45:06 PM

, 4now: doesn't this widget just check what the current version of a program is (using the web), not the version which YOU happen to use?

By GeekK , # Sep 30, 2006 8:32:02 PM

and it lists my Opera as 9.02 when it is actually 9.01

By 4now , # Sep 22, 2006 5:39:44 PM

Well done! Many apps I use such as Photoshop would be nice.
It lists my Opera as 9.01 while it is actually 9.02.

Nice!
Widget should provide different versions of Opera (Mac, Windows, Unix)...
Also links for update pages would be useful.
As for other appz:

By FataL , # Sep 5, 2006 10:23:25 PM

very very nice idea! congrats...:D

i miss.. (you should definetly make a bigger alphabetical list)
..Trillian
..O&O Defrag
..EvilLyrics
..Skype
..Teamspeak

and maybe you could make the background a little darker...it looks a little childish
