SimAquarium is an aquarium simulation game - you can buy and sell fish, aquarium sceneries (plants, rocks etc), lighting and other things for your aquarium!
You can feed your fish, play with them and do much more. To earn money you have to breed and sell fish - there is 28 different species with different characteristics, some of the fishes are very rare. With more money you can buy bigger and prettier fishes, more impressive aquarium decorations and better lighting. But the most expensive animal you can buy is not a fish - it's a dolphin!
The game doesn't need a lot of attention - you can run this game in the background and do something else in the same time (it is possible to reduce the number of frames per second to save processor and you can minimize the widget). The widget file takes about 1.5 MB. I would be greateful for any comments about the game balance, speed etc. of the new version!!!
Oh, by the way: you can even take the photos of your aquarium! To take a photo, simply press the photo camera button. If you like your aquarium, you can post the photos here
I have exactly the same problem as KenStarnes. A year ago, I downloaded Opera and discovered this widget, but then I had to use different browsers. I only downloaded Opera again because of this widget! But it doesn't work at all. Like Ken says, the fish are only guppys. Plus, the prize is very high although you also have a high budget at the beginning of the game. But that's pointless anyway because not a single button in the game works !!! I tried all versions of this widget, and the only one that works is the original one where you don't even have to feed your fish... which is kinda lame (I think). Please make the new versions work again :'( I loved this game.
This is broken for me under Opera 10.5. It didin't import the previous state of my fish tank; therefore I have no fish (although my money is there) and the fish shown have a default price of and they're all guppys! I think there's an issue here
Геннадий, Вам точно нужен этот виджет... нервы ваши успокоит а то Вы какой то напряженный. Opera не американский браузер, а голландский, так что не гоните... зря. у меня тоже не грузится, кстати
A cool trick is to have a few cheap ones in the beginning then let the game go for a while after putting food in. Check on it once in a while. You might get some fish deaths, but holy crap. Did that and got rich pretty easily lol. They multiply.
Hahaha. This is one heck of a job you did on this one. Though, being how I like to modify things, I opened up the source code and tinkered around. I found the starting money variable and had some fun with that. (All this was after I got tons of stuff on the game lol).
the best little game i ever seen, but rarely german friends, however... at the moment i have 2 turtles, one dolphin (waiting for the second chance to buy another one for babys - yeah!), 3 oscars (i love it - wonderful colors), 3 discus and 3 freshwater angelfish in my aquarium. i bought all the scenerys, lightings and filters that you can get. advanced power filter, sea shell scenery and star lights are in use and about 400.000 . i am very happy about that and all my free time i am playing playing playing.
guppies>fairy chichilds>marine angelfish>discus. thats all you need to know to make 2 million in 24 hours and own all the sceneries lights and whatever else you want
