nice, 0.1.3 works fine. Version 0.1.3b from amgr8ape has few issues with displaying high bidder (some html text displayed). Thanks for good work.

I've managed to correct the issues identified by mefistofele (High Bidder now works as does number of bids). You can download the version here:
http://files.myopera.com/amgr8ape/files/eBay_watcher%200.1.3b.zip

Move to your Widget folder in your Opera profile folder and then open this compressed file from the Opera file menu.

Note to the author: I made a few changes in the functions.js file. I didn't follow proper etiquette only because I needed this widget to work showing description, bids and highest bidder info on short notice. Once you perfect this excellent widget I will happily remove the file from the server.

Nice widget - but why does it not show the full item name field? I only get the first five characters. Also, the High Bidder and History fields do not return anything. I'm using Opera 9.23 under fully updated Win XP Pro.

It would be very cool, if the widget could - depending on the language setting in Opera - use localized ebay pages.

An alarm for auctions which end soon would also be very useful

seems that don't work. :frown:

Super, super COOL! I'm fairly new to Ebay, and this
is really useful to watch auctions as they end while
you're doing other things. Love it.

This is great! Thank you very much. I only wish that I didn't have to use a scroll bar in order to view all 10 auctions. Would be nice to see them all at the same time. Other than that it's awesome.

This Widget is very useful. Is it possible to have the next auction on top?
Also I noticed a display bug when the username of the involved ebay user is too long.

Any way for us to enter our user information and get all our auctions / watched items configured automagically?

EBay has an API, and there are existing widgets that do this with javascript code embedded etc:

1. Go to eBay auction service.
2. Open your favorite auction.
3. Copy Item number, fe. 180029874587
4. Run eBay watcher widget
5. Go to config panel (lower right corner icon)
6. Paste Item number to the first empty edit box (eBay auction numer 1)
7. Set refresh interval (form 7 up to 9999 seconds)
8. Switch widget to normal mode (again lower right corner icon)

That's all

A suggestion for next version: includes the ID of the top bidder.

I like it but I'd like to be able to tell at a glance if I'm winning the item.
