Sorry, but the problem with sound in widgets is not fixed for Opera 11 (>=11.51). An exists in 12.00 Beta too. I can not fix it.
The sound can not be played/started/stopped without problems. This is a bug in the Opera implementation for widgets, that means in Opera itself!

Hey, really like the widget, BUT, with Opera 11, I'm not getting any sounds at the end, when the timer is up, and that's what I Loved about it. Any fixes?

By infinitejim , # Jan 15, 2011 5:49:05 AM

My widget will be fixed for Opera 10.5x if Opera's problems with audio and other Javascript are fixed.
Current 10.51 Final and Weeklies have some ugly bugs under Linux and Windows.

Sorry.

I also have problem with this nice widget in Opera 10.5. Do you plan to update it?

By bazantm , # Mar 17, 2010 7:14:04 PM

I have serious problems with this widget in Opera 10.50 final. The stop button doesn't work and after the time is up, it doesn't blink as it does in older versions of Opera.

Well, this may be the next big step.
When? WIR.

it would be VERY usefull, if u could change the times, by hoovering them with the mouse and than scroll with the mouse-wheel thru times...
Example: Widget is started... Diggits show: 00:00:00
than u hoover over the hours, one spin to the wheel (@ mouse) and than, the diggits show: 01:00:00 ... ... ...
Hmm, up/downsetting with content mouse wheel soes not work perfect in current Opera. May be the widget's implementation is buggy.
So you have to wait until fixed.
Sorry.

The widget implementation in Opera has some serious bugs/problems.

I have delayed further enhancement of widget until these problems are checke/fixed by Opera.

Nice idea.

Will be tested, may be added, for next Opera 10 widget version.

>>sorry for my bad english ^^ can´t write it verry well
No problem. My mother tongue is more german (especially franconian!) than english.

first: very handy, small Widget i use EVERYDAY (not only @ work) for my tea, my coffee, some things that will happen in future ("please call back in 10 minutes, okay?") and a browsergame...

but i am missing something: it would be VERY usefull, if u could change the times, by hoovering them with the mouse and than scroll with the mouse-wheel thru times...
Example: Widget is started... Diggits show: 00:00:00
than u hoover over the hours, one spin to the wheel (@ mouse) and than, the diggits show: 01:00:00 ... ... ...

Peace!

New version (internal version # 1.05RC) uploaded.

By GwenDragon , # Jul 24, 2008 6:12:36 PM

Really nice, 10/10 (simple, small, complete)
Complete as far as I am concerned, if you think it can still be improved, I'll be glad to know how.

Hey, THANKS.
This widget WORKS. Its helping me remember to get my clothes out of the dryer! Specifically, I can hear the alarm from across the room. Maybe more to tell later, but for now, THANKS! Nice widget. Jim

Problem with disability of moving the widget to the borders of Linux desktop is wellknown and occurs on some distries.

Is fixed in 1.04
See Changelog

Last version of Widget is 1.05RC1

By GwenDragon , # Jan 24, 2008 5:50:08 PM

Hmm, Nice, clear, simple and SMALL, exactly what I want.

My only issue is that it seems to have a virtual border that prevents moving it near to a side of the screen. It stops about one inch from the left and top border, about 1.5 inch from the right border and about 2.5 inches from the bottom border. I would like to have all these invisible borders to be 0 inches, so I could place it on top of some toolbar :-)

My Opera is 9.25, OS is Linux. (I'm willing to help if you want, feel free to send me a PM ;-))

Thanks!

I really like this widget - compact, easy to use, no problems. However there's one thing I like to be able to do. I like to use count-up timer mode to see how long a job or activity takes. But if I stop the timer and then restart it, it starts counting down, instead of continuing to count up. Is there a way to count up, pause, and then continue to count up ?

Thanks !! :-)

Sorry, will be fixed next version.
Please be polite and wait a little bit

By GwenDragon , # Jul 27, 2007 8:52:01 PM

webgenster: You can change background color in config.js.

I would like to ask very politely  for adding a feature, that will move focus on pressing Enter.
Like you move cursor to hour field, write numbers on keyboard, pres Enter, jump to minutes, write, Enter jump to seconds and again and jump and start timer.
That would be really great and more convinient to use, less mouse wondering around. The timer is great, I use it all the time

By Trof , # Jul 20, 2007 1:08:42 PM

A very nice and useful widget. But what about color change option? And/or skins? It would be great.

By webgenster , # Jun 18, 2007 3:00:59 PM
