Artist's Sketchbook V1.63 Feb 27, 2008 2:17:17 PM

Advanced painting widget with many tools: pencils, charcoal, paint brushes, calligraphy pen and much more - draw, paint, paste photos, have fun!

VERSION 1.50 SCREENSHOTS

VERSION 1.50-1.64 CHANGELOG

If you will draw a masterpiece, don't worry, you won't lose it - this widget has picture exporting, saving and loading! This widget has also multilanguage support - at this moment 32 languages are included! If you want to help me translate this widget, look here. By the way - this widget checks for updates automatically

Warning: if you have Opera 9.5 and can't use colors it's caused by a bug in the new version of Opera. Images with alpha transparency are not rendered correctly in canvas element (bug #335311). This bug has been reported to Opera and I can't do much more about it, sorry. The only solution for now to paint with colors other than black is to install a copy of Opera 9.27 for this widget.

Funny, but pointless.

I agree... I love it too but i only wish you could resize the picture...

This wiget is oh sooooo great!!! It is so nice to work with.
I LOVE IT!

Ther are only two small things that i'm missing:

1)the possibility of freely scaling up to the size of a normal "sheet of paper" ;-)

and

2)if it would be able to run outside of opera as a standalone programm.
That would just make it perfekt.

but anyway. thank you so much for this over the top useful tool.
it's outstanding.

You did a really good job with this!

I just realized a mistake I made in a previous post... What I meant was whether it was possible to add a photo importer that gets photos from the computer to sketchbook... I'd love to draw moustaches on some people...

Once again, thanks for such a brilliant widget!

This is really cool!

I have some suggestions:
Like some others that have mentioned, an Undo/redo button would be useful.
Also, is it possible to put a photo importer in Sketchbook?

Anyway, keep up the great work!

Wow... Simply WOW! This is awesome! Great way to practice mouse-drawing... Love it! 5 stars *thumbsup*

By ZaShiroiKarasu, # Jan 5, 2007 8:34:05 PM

grafio, nice work TOO !!!!

but as one mentioned before, there is no undo button (or/and Ctrl+Z).
It would be great if you implement that. Your widget would be MUCH MORE usefull.

Thanks for your (free) work !!!

Best regards,

balze

Thank you a lot!

A very well done widget. Would be a nice idea to let people save their sketch online. I would be interested to see what others can do. Different brush sizes would be great too. Fine detailing would be easier if zooming is allowed, noise from mouse movement could then be avoided. Changing the crosshair to just a dot ofcolor could be a nice addition.
