With this widget you can check the PageRank of your website. PageRank technology is used by Google to determine how high a website is shown in Google Search results.
This is useful widget only few improvements would be nice.
1. It would be better if it inserts "http://" in the beginning of the adress like opera so you don't have to type it. 2. Some kind of info/error field so you can see if there is some problem for example in web adress what you fed or if page rank is 0 so you can no if page rank is 0 or if it isn't available.
Type in google.com - it search and search, but will never find any result If you then type in some other webpage, it will show the rank bar, but not the number, because it is still searching for google.com...
Maybe it would be nice whith an abort/cancel button?
EDIT: i tried to close and re-open the widget, and now google.com works as supposed to - so i guess something stranged happend to me the first time i tried.. maybe the server didn't respond or somewhat? Anyway: I would really like a way to abort the search (a button, or maybe a new search could abort the first one?)
: Yes. PageRank is a natural number in the range from 0 to 10, so it's quite logical that two sites can have the same rank PageRank shows how "important" is a site for Google. It's used by Google to compute how high this page will be shown in Google Search results.

The number never shows up.
It seems that admuncher will screw up several javascript applications, this one is an example.
But thanks, nice work!

I already have a PR button, which does the current page when you click it (without typing the URL in).

VERSION 1.1: Now the widget requests another site (prchecker.info) to check PageRank, because checkpagerank.com had false results sometimes.
