Stay Secure V1.82 May 30, 2009 10:58:18 AM

Keep your eye on the security of popular Web browsers.

This widget shows the security status of the latest versions of IE, Firefox, Opera and Safari. The bars represent how dangerous is the worst unfixed hole (not the number of holes) - the lower a bar, the better security. The data about the vulnerabilities is loaded from Secunia site. It's refreshed once per hour.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The widget by itself DOES NOT make you more secure or protect you from anything. This is a general information accurate only for the latest versions of the browsers. Always use the most current version of your browser and install security patches!

It is, but you must understand how it functions. When Secunia added it to their database the hole was already fixed by Opera. And the widget doesn't show fixed holes, only unfixed.

I never saw this being alerted on the widget. Are you sure its fully functional? http://secunia.com/advisories/32452/

Some users of this widget must understand that it reports on the security status of the latest available versions (finished versions), NOT the security status of your installed version (as some of you seem to think). The widget has no way of knowing what version of a particular web browser you are actually using -- it isn't designed to do that!

Yea it works in Opera 9.60

This lightweight gajizmo appear to be spot-on when it comes to threat assessment on that missing browser update that you've been holding off since web 1.0.
This widget displays security status of the latest versions of IE, Firefox, Opera, Safari and Konqueror 3. It graphically shows how dangerous is the worst unfixed hole (but not the number of holes) in your browser. Highly recommended. Thanks.

+1, some days ago work, but now again not. Write just that: NaN security hole

By Lali19871014 , # Sep 28, 2008 7:45:03 PM

Great, but doesn't work...
The browsers are from left to right: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Safari (forked from Konqueror), Konqueror.
