***
This widget shows the security status of the latest versions of IE, Firefox, Opera and Safari. The bars represent how dangerous is the worst unfixed hole (not the number of holes) - the lower a bar, the better security. The data about the vulnerabilities is loaded from Secunia site. It's refreshed once per hour.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The widget by itself DOES NOT make you more secure or protect you from anything. This is a general information accurate only for the latest versions of the browsers. Always use the most current version of your browser and install security patches!
Excellent widget. 10/10 I would like that you add google Chrome, Adobe Flash player and Adobe PDF Reader Optionaly Thunderbird and VLC Evince Gnome And a setting to disable and enable the product you are using. Safari is not very usefull in Linux except if you use if throw wine
The reason is simple I am using Linux and as I cannot use PSI secunia. So this widget give me basic information But I cannot know if Adobe Flash Adobe PDF Reader are secure. Furthermore Google Chrome is also used so now I think its missing. My favorite browser are Opera and Chrome And for developpement Firefox for Firebug. Thank a lot to the developer for the very good job.
provides a good link, but doesn't note that Safari 5 [5.0 (7533.16) on my PC] vulnerability should be rated less critical (just two bars) -- shouldn't this widget detect the installed version and properly match to the Secunia data? If it does, it's very cool indeed, but if it doesn't, it's just another shoulda woulda, but couldna.

Feb 18th, so not expecting this to be fixed soon.
Firewall and peerblock were disabled, HOSTS file removed,
still the LOADING ERROR.
Would of been a nice addition.
