Video Downloader allows you to download videos directly from most video sites. (Google Video, Putfile, YouTube... etc)

This widget is based on videodownloader.net engine.

Not working!!

Does NOT work with youtube. Major flaw IMO.

You can use now Flash Video Downloader widget from here http://widgets.opera.com/widget/9402/ .Its support several sites and work very fast.

Video Downloader will no longer work on many sites including YouTube. The best video grabber I have found is Download Helper, A Firefox plug-in. Nothing against Opera, I love it but for video downloads you have to use Firefox.
You can save videos from sites where there is no option to download the movie to your hard disk. DownloadHelper works on YouTube, MySpace, Google videos, DailyMotion, Porkolt, iFilm, DreamHost and many others

This is wonderful and easy to use. When you download the file, simply rename it and give it an .avi extension, and you have your video! Love it!

video downloader does not work anymore with you tube....nor does those links to media convert as they state the same for you tube...
can anyone help with this matter??? x
