Search for the following line in skeletonWithMenu.js:
window['feedManager']= new FeedManager ( function(feed){view.onNewItemsHandler(feed)}, xmlParser, 20*60 );
The last parameter is the update frequency (in minutes). Change that to whatever you wish.
It might also have something to do with the update frequency for documents. You find that preference under Tools > Preferences > Advanced tab > History > Check documents.
I'm having trouble forcing the feed to refresh when I want it to. It does seem to work after a long time (hours?)
What is the minimum time before I can actually force the feeds to refresh? Where is the parameter I can change if I want to allow more frequent updates?
I made a copy of the widget and changed which RSS feeds it was accessing to those of a site I have control over. On my site, I updated all the RSS files. But I could not get this widget to read them until I just tried again (about 4 hours later).
I just downloaded Opera yesterday: Version 9.00 Build 3447 Platform MacOS X System 10.3.9

But doesn't the rest of the world
