gCalendar World Cup edition V1.5 May 31, 2006 8:16:39 PM

This is a read only calendar which retrieves data from your Google Calendar.

Some notes:

1. Due to a bug in Opera 9, you have to hit the "Login" button until you're logged in, that takes 3 or 4 hits.

This is my first time in web developing, I had to learn Javascript and CSS all along the way, so don't be too disappointed when you see it.

You can see more information and screenshots from <a href="http://my.opera.com/wangjiaji/blog/show.dml/280782" target="_blank">http://my.opera.com/wangjiaji/blog/show.dml/280782

gCalendar is now powerful than ever! Keep Opera and this widget open, you won't miss a match!

What's new in gCalendar 1.5:
1. World Cup calendar
2. Reminding function
3. Auto hide

Make it on top when using it, it can hide itself when you don't need it, when you want it, just move your mouse over the header bar.

1.5.2a fixed the unable to login problem. But repeating events are not supported yet.

well it finally worked after I replaced %40 with an @ symbol!!!
it should have been mentioned!

its a great widget.. offers some nice functionality
but I hope its still in development..
would like to see the look to be changed & the colour scheme to be simple!

and I cant see the annual recurring events in it. I wonder why!

wonderful widget! 4/5

OK! Works with @! 4/5

Has lots of potential, hope it's work in progresse.

How does the reminder work?

"...it can hide itself when you don't need it, when you want it, just move your mouse over the header bar."
doesn't seen to work, maybe there could be a button for that.

Wishlist: hours, week view, resizing, cutomizing options...
(also the today and month radio-style buttons could be tabs like Google's?
The logo could be a link to Google canlendar?)

Hello,

sorry, but I don't get this work. What to do and where exactly is this cookie? I have done all like described but it told me that it is the wrong cookie. Please help.

Thanks, Thomas

Nice but the ability to load multiple calendars, both public and private, repeating events and a quick add would be extremely useful. Thanks! ~Rayne

Great start. keep up the good work. A suggestion would be to add a 'upcoming events' or 'Agenda'. At this point, its clear when I have an event for the day, but it is unclear how many events I have that day or even that there are more than one. I guess I'm asking for more readily available info. Thanks!

This Calendar is still not working.

Google changed their feeds, and it no longer works correctly with GCalendar. When you fix it, though, i'll definitely use this widget.

This calendar comes up garbled on my system. It is a horrible calendar. And I like goodle products, but this is a piece of junk.

By raven131, # Jul 2, 2006 0:11:42 AM

Horrible :frown:
Unresizable.
Displays all hours except displaying only hours having events.
Style colors are sick-making...

I'ts great!

By sunfishdied, # Jun 28, 2006 8:07:48 PM

I read somewhere, that Google changed the ICE or IDE or what else and now some Products must be changed the configuration to get in the Calendar.

Same here. Pasting the "Magic Cookie" into the textbox and clicking Login does nothing in Opera 9 Final.
