***Note*** THIS WIDGET NOW WORKS CORRECTLY WITH ALL VERSIONS OF OPERA 9. ***Note***

This is a game called Cobra. Take your Cobra and eat your prey represented by the Xs. The more you eat, the longer your Cobra grows, the better your score becomes, and the more challanging the game becomes! Don't hit the walls or the rest of your body or it's Game Over! Have Fun!

Game Keys:
Movement - Use the Arrow Keys to Move.
Pausing the Game - Press P to pause.

Updates: Cobra 3.0 now includes music, which you will have to turn on manualy, new sounds, a slightly new look and most importantly, the transparancy issues are fixed (for the most part). Now all versions of Opera 9 can play!

Thanks for the praise.

Someone recently formated my computer....GRRRRRRR...anyways, my .fla file was deleted so I'm going to have to redo the thing all over again for updates. This halted ALL of my widget work, including some widgets yet to be released.

And to think I was almost done with my update.

=/

Well back to work I guess. I can only keep a positive attitude to redo everything...until I found out who did it.

Really great! Runs well even on slower computers. As mentioned above, a high score feature would make it perfect. Thanks.

I have a suggestion.
Could you put in a local high scores feature. You probably thought of a high scores featue but in case you haven't this is my suggestion.

3.0 is released!

Transparancy issues are now nonexistant. New sounds and music are included but you must turn the music on manualy. This is so when you download the widget and/or when the widget is just laying around, the music doesn't play. Also, the problem Kilfer talks about is more than likely not going to appear in this version. In the next release, Cobra 3.1, I will include the option to minimize and maximize the widget. Sadly, that is the only thing I did not get to include in this version.

Also, I would have released it sooner, but I thought I already did until I checked >_>; .

Sweet, and I think I have the transparency issue mentioned -- not sure which opera version I have -- but it works for me so long as I hold the game over my black desktop background; otherwise I can't read half the text. xX But otherwise it's great.

Thats weird. It shouldn't appear on the opposite side. I'll have to check into that.

I think he means that it won't start if you press the spacebar. You have to click the word "space" at least I had to. Fiddle with it a bit. Also, in any snake games I played, you could move into a wall and appear on the opposite side.

It works quite nicely if you follow the directions. I don't know why it wouldn't work for you.

I would love to tell you about the new version that I will release in the future, but I do not want to list features that I want to add that could potentialy not make it to the next version. Just check back occasionally to see if its updated.
