Good widget overall, except that the background image keeps repeating. Put a "background-repeat: no-repeat" (I think) in your CSS.

@unitheory
I encounter many similar "problems" with Vista's default font type. I planned on correcting this by using an image and mapping hotspots so it won't stretch the way it is for you. I'll work on that and update it here soon. Apparently most all linux distros cause problems with their font types. I had the same problems in RedHat and Fedora, lol. Thanks for the feed back, glad you like it!

this is only a font size issue (linux uses different fonts).
possible solutions:
1) include the alphabet as part of the image and use an image map.
2) make the widget size dynamic.
i would go for option 2 ;]
cool widget btw!
peace

Hey everyone! I've just updated this widget, so search results are now contained within the widget! Let me know if you find any bugs or anything. I am still working out a few things, so this is not the final release yet! :wink: Until then..Enjoy!

It is supposed to open results in a new tab. It functions the same as a normal search tool would. It is designed to take up minimal space. Displaying a whole list of results would take up too much space on some users machines. I also spoke with the owner of 911tabs, and the way it is designed does not take the user compeltely away from the site. It allows fast searching on the fly, it is not made to direct link to tabs in anyway. That would bypass the user ever touching to site, and since the owner is going to be advertising this widget on his site, I wouldn't want it to avoid using his site completely. :wink:

Rated it :star::star::star:, 'cause it doesn't give a list of results in the widget like KnowledgeMate does, it just opens a new tab with the results.
