I recently upgraded to Opera 10.10 and this widget doesn't launch properly for me. Obviously it's working for other people though. :-/ Is there something I should be looking for in my operating environment? When launched, the widget generates what looks to be a new Opera window with a web address as a label for it (I can't read the whole URL, sorry), but that's as far as it gets, no visual fretboard or anything past that.

Anyone else have this problem, and if so, have you found a workaround?

I apologize for my previous post... I was drunk. Thanks for this widget. I am relaying this through my rep.

This widget is way too big, look:
<width>400</width>
<height>800</height>
Fix the config.xml.
And give your widget a title, so that I don't get a file://localhost/... as text in my taskbar. Simply add a <title> tag in your index.html file.
Another problem, when I select Eb major, it tells me "no chords found, try scrolling up and down the neck for other options", but I can't figure out how. Mouse wheel, drag and drop and pressing on the arrow keys don't seem to do anything.

There is no need to hear the chords - but . .
It would be good if you could adjust it for different * tunings * as with the guitar scale widget - THEN it would be really useful.

I like the natural authentic look - mre fretboard could be good but not entirely necessary. - Graham

The above comment kept me from trying this out. Yes, sounds would make this amazing, but I realize it'd take significant work.

By Strife767 , # Jul 25, 2006 5:50:44 PM

Maybe there could be a way to hear the sounds of the Chords.

Why not offer the chioce of a "do/re/mi/fa/sol/la/si" version?

Hey.

How can I see more fret area? Maybe I can move it?
