KnowledgeMate is a great starting point for research and queries. KnowledgeMate will search Google, Wikipedia and other sites and gather the most relevant information and images in a short list.

I second hapablap. Excellent widget in either case. Kudos.

Update: Problem fixed in the Opera 9 Beta - pages load in a new tab in the same window. Thanks to all involved.

It even gives results from Uncyclopedia >

This widget made me switch to Opera 9 as my main browser, instead of waiting until it's out of beta. Great stuff!

hapablap: I'm not sure, I think you would have to ask Opera to modify the widget.openURL method.

Is there a way to have the search results open in the same window in a new tab? Having multiple windows just adds more clutter to my desktop.
