KnowledgeMate V1.2 Apr 16, 2006 10:45:36 PM

KnowledgeMate is a great starting point for research and queries. KnowledgeMate will search Google, Wikipedia and other sites and gather the most relevant information and images in a short list.

Very nice, but it would be nice if it could show/hide the results.

TreeGo: The images should now work

The skin has also been modernized a bit

Still no Images appearing in Opera's official version 9 release.

By TreeGo, # Jun 20, 2006 10:33:01 AM

Build 8455 of Opera is working just great with KnowledgeMate except that Google Images no longer appear as they did before.

By TreeGo, # Jun 6, 2006 0:23:28 AM

Build 8410 allows all links clicked in KnowledgeMate to open a new tab (desirable for me) rather a new window (undesirable for me). That's good.

Still have the problem described above with Google links (other than the 'more results' link) adding extra characters to the URL which causes pages from Google links in KnowledgeMate to load improperly in Opera.

Now Build 8393 introduces a problem that existed before ... all links clicked on in KnowledgeMate open a brand new window rather than a brand new tab.

I'm using Windows XP SP 2, Build 8372 of Opera. All Google links other than the 'more Google results' or 'more Google images' links give me a page that has all the extraneous characters listed above added to the URL link location which results in an invalid URL page most always. If I remove all the extraneous characters from the URL address and reload the page, the expected/desired link/page loads properly.

TreeGo: I'll have a look at it. But I could use a bit more info..

Not much substance? You don't like this widget? Why not?

Not much substance

By bond75234, # Apr 29, 2006 4:11:58 AM

It would be more useful if the Google links worked. :frown:

By TreeGo, # Apr 28, 2006 11:03:54 PM

OMG!!! This is so useful.

Anybody else experiencing the problem I described?

By TreeGo, # Apr 27, 2006 2:07:00 AM

I am using Windows XP SP2.

By TreeGo, # Apr 26, 2006 10:44:05 PM

blaah
are this for windows or something

By Jakke_77, # Apr 26, 2006 9:38:27 PM

The problem I just described where all these extraneous characters get added on to the URL causing the page to not load have to do with Google Search links only, it appears. Hope this can be cleared up ....

By TreeGo, # Apr 26, 2006 8:16:24 PM

I get stuff like this added on to the URL (%22%20onmousedown=%22return%20rwt(this,'','','res','1','&sig2=tIwMfggdAYF8qLsiq1N1Pg') which invariably causes the page not to load. If I go up a directory via ctrl-backspace or through a mouse gesture, the page then loads fine usually. A little annoying. I'm using Build 8372 of Opera 9.
