KnowledgeMate is a great starting point for research and queries. KnowledgeMate will search Google, Wikipedia and other sites and gather the most relevant information and images in a short list.
Build 8410 allows all links clicked in KnowledgeMate to open a new tab (desirable for me) rather a new window (undesirable for me). That's good.
Still have the problem described above with Google links (other than the 'more results' link) adding extra characters to the URL which causes pages from Google links in KnowledgeMate to load improperly in Opera.
I'm using Windows XP SP 2, Build 8372 of Opera. All Google links other than the 'more Google results' or 'more Google images' links give me a page that has all the extraneous characters listed above added to the URL link location which results in an invalid URL page most always. If I remove all the extraneous characters from the URL address and reload the page, the expected/desired link/page loads properly.
The problem I just described where all these extraneous characters get added on to the URL causing the page to not load have to do with Google Search links only, it appears. Hope this can be cleared up ....
I get stuff like this added on to the URL (%22%20onmousedown=%22return%20rwt(this,'','','res','1','&sig2=tIwMfggdAYF8qLsiq1N1Pg') which invariably causes the page not to load. If I go up a directory via ctrl-backspace or through a mouse gesture, the page then loads fine usually. A little annoying. I'm using Build 8372 of Opera 9.
