KnowledgeMate is a great starting point for research and queries. KnowledgeMate will search Google, Wikipedia and other sites and gather the most relevant information and images in a short list.
I would really like this widget if it worked better for me. When I do a search, I only get links from Thesaurus and images from Yahoo. Google, Wikipedia and Dictionary (plus images from Google if I choose that) never show.
Useful widget but I would have liked to see the BBC H2G2 site included among the search sources. Also, I notice that the Google search picks up results 11-20 not the 1st 10 most relevant.
@skyefox Nice, but I've found a possible bug with it. If you search for a keyword and hover over the results, the description at the bottom still stays there if you press esc.
Nice, I like it. One problem: it shows no images (only an 'alt' text) - probably due to my Opera default settings - 'show only cached images'. Is there a way to fix it?
I cannot run this widget. After download Opera displays following error message: "An error occurred when applying this file." I'm working on Slackware Linux, Opera 9 Final.

Information at your fingertips...
I have only a special question:
But is a proxy support planned? In more general: Is its possible to use the proxy specified in the prefs in widgets?

A google groups search would be pretty neat, since you can find lots of useful info there
