The month name doesn't even appear at the top. If anything does show, it is chopped to bits and unreadable. Clicking on a day closes the widget. I can't type anything in the day. The time I did, the widget closed after 3 letters. There is no way to close the widget since there is no close box or [X] that you can click to close it.
There are a lot of problems with this calendar but this could work out great if you fix them: 1: decide to use a real font (comic sans ms sucks) 2: Don't do transparent lettering. 3: Make it prettier. 4: Make the numbers clickable, now I have to click around them. 5: I might do more than one thing in the same day. How do I do that in this calendar? That's all; the rest is good.
Yeah, FLASH doesn't seem like a good idea in widgets! - Transparency certainly is an awkward "feature", but I think that most issues are due to the slow initialise & slow response of flash, not a great deal that can be done about it.
Nice idea. I really was hoping it would work but I too am having problems with the transparency. I can't read the month and can't type notes. I'll be checking back for updates since I think this calendar is a great idea.
Zdravím (hezky česky) - nešlo by udělat neco podobného i bez flashe? Něco takového bych potřeboval, ale jedu ještě stále na dial-upu, a tak mam flash vypnutý - díky za odpověď. - MartinezZ
it's problem with Flash in widgets, when you click info Flash movie Opera won't catch the click ... if you click on top of the widget, you will remove it as the border of the widget is a html page (not Flash movie)
If you are having trouble getting rid of a widget, locate the 'Widgets' folder in the installation of Opera. Inside that folder, you can delete the file for the widget thats causing the problem.
The next time you load Opera, that widget wont exist.
ps. We're working on a UI for that (and a lot more), please bear with us
On Mac version of v9 beta - I cannot delete this widget. The [X] appears on the widget but once clicked, does nothing at all. I cannot even move it out of the way!
don't understand what you mean except the transparency problem - this is propably caused by FlashPlayer or by Opera - I have already posted the topic into beta-testing forum
In concept it's great. But it doesn't work.
