As standard setting the widget starts with Oslo as home town. But when you click on the gear(wheel) in the widget window you can search for a new location. And once you have found the correct city just select it in the search result list. After you left the setting but another click on the gear the widget will load the new city.
i have just downloaded the widget. For some reason it gives me the weather for Oslo. I live in the UK, so this is not a lot of use to me. I can see no way of changing the location. Has anyone else had this problem?
Yeah I too have problems with this Widget and Opera 9.27, the Widget either says Loading...... but never does or causes the browser to crash. When will this be fixed or updated as I really like this Widget, thanks.
It got Opera 9.27 crashing, and caused it very corrupted! I warn you not to use it until it is fixed. If Crashing, unable to close this Widget or Opera Browser, then go to Task Manager to end them all. It also corruped Window XP Taskbar, until I exited it, then it went back to normal.
Problem just arised when I had do emergency switch with OSes: (From Win to Ubuntu)
Widget won't move to the right or lower side of the screen as in compact mode, but moves to left side freely (its like there would be some kind of pre-determined area where widget could(n't) be.)
Haven't crashed yet.. I think. (My Opera crashes so often without any reason..)
If I may quote one thing that saw on another page. (Regarding for SoundOfVision's comment)

And remember, info comes from AccuWeather - their meters may show different than yours and they're just one page. If you're making plans, you should check other forecast pages too.
And I guess you shouldn't use this widget with any other version than stable releases.

On my wish list now is the atmospheric pressure, possibly with trend showing fast/slow increase/decrease.

For Göteborg you have to spell it without "ö", ie Goteborg.
