International weather reports, in detailed, compact and mini modes. Automatically updated, Powered by AccuWeather.

Version 1.14 now available!

Only one minor bugfix in this version - upgrade is recommended before the release of Opera 9.5:

touchtheSky is a comprehensive weather display, featuring:

  • International coverage - just type your town name and search
  • Always up-to-date - data gets retrieved and updated every half-hour from Accuweather.com
  • Temperature
  • Windspeed
  • Satellite images
  • Air quality, including humidity, pollen levels, and UV levels
  • Moon phases
  • 5-day forecast
  • Mini mode - always have it available in the corner of your screen!
  • Metric or US units
  • Actual temperature or AccuWeather RealFeel
  • Switchable skins, conforming to Opera Style guidelines
  • Animations can be disabled for slower CPUs
  • Automatic notification when software updates are available
  • Checked for compatibility in Windows, Linux and Mac OS

especially good for portable Opera versions. (I have a weather app on my main computer) I do wish there was an option to change from 24-hour time to AM/PM but otherwise excellent!

A great widget, but a couple of suggestions for the next version. :smile:
Remove the location name when the window is at its smallest to make it even smaller. :D
Add the temperature inbetween the weather image and location name when the window is just the bar. :smile:

Still prefer Firefox version of Accuweather. I like that it is always at the bottom right of my screen.
