An interactive, real-time TV guide, designed to be as unobtrusive as possible!

Update: fixed for security model of latest betas.

Current listings for UK, Norway, France and Sweden. Experimental support for the Netherlands and the Czech Republic/Slovakia, please post feedback in the Widgets Forum.

Yes I *love* the concept of this widget and I managed to configure it to show my faves, but alas; on a clean install of XP and latest Opera 9 as of 5th July 2006, the CPU usage hits 99% when I'm actually looking at the chan listings (2.6ghz CPU, 1024mb RAM); so I've got to give it a miss too

Shame, because I really do like it.

The only problem is the button you press in the top right - to change the channel - doesn't work properly.At least it don't or me - and this is SO annoying - does nobody test these things at all. You can click on the damn thing and get no response at all - it's only when the thing turns a lighter shade of white that it works. Otherwise this is a great widget.

And - I agree with the comments about the cpu 100% thing - it does this for me - this in itself is enough to spoil a great widget for me

Yep, me too. I have recently updated to Opera 9, but as I got something with the default settings, I'm guessing something else is wrong...?

I've configed mine for 4 different norwegian channels, the ones I have, but I keep getting "No programmes currently showing". What's wrong?

Czech and Slovak republic isn't working.

BUG: When I select Czech and Slovak republic, widget says No channels found. Please go back and select a different country.

have you thought of creating tutorials for making better widgets? Because you seem to be the best that is developing for the opera community at the moment and Id love to get in and help out

Clean design however this program has to do ALOT more to ie for a sweed to beat start\run\www.tv.nu
As it is now it's atleast not to a sweed really any useful.
My problems:
* Not resizable
* FirstPage: Too much empty space (ie: empty lines)
* FirstPage: Option to remove channelicons
* FirstPage: Option to show not just what's on right now on each channel but ie the next 1-3 progams too. All sorted after time starting and not channel
* SecondPage: Would be nice if the popup only showed the channels I've chosen in my settings. As it is now it shows all channels, from the looks of it.

No reason for this to be a widget. Has nothing to do with the browser. Make it a trayapp with alarmsupport, telling me (if i want) when my favourite show is about to start. And that not just when the browser is running (widget).

I second the positive comments, this widget is excellent!

I too would love to see danish programming supported, the listings are easily obtainable. I'll gladly help out if needed.

Opera build 8455 can't expand to deails the programs on Win98. Build 8414 was OK.

If I save my browser settings as a session in Opera with the widget open, close and then I re-open the browser, the widget appears collapsed and not open... Why? This does not happen with touchthesky...

This is absolutely awesome!!! I've been looking for this kind of gadget/widget for at long time - but it is not available for Desktop Sidebar, as a Yahoo! widget or as a Windows Vista gadget. I had to install Opera beta 9 to get it.. GREAT WORK! ... and hopefully you will be able to port them to these other platforms/apps soon.

One request though: Please add support for Denmark. It should be quite easy for you; most of the national channels are available from the Norwegian/Swedish channel listings - I can tell you which to start with. Thank you!

The Dutch listing did not work for me. I'm not sure if XMLTV has updated their code for the Dutch tvguide...

Thanks, Johnny! My nightmare is the "exchange" of awesome and awful. Of course, I mean awesome!

It's very useful for me with these broadcasts on cable-TV, too. But for a more wide usage in non-english countries would be very nice to use any broadcasts. But it is perhaps an extreme request. The actual assortment is very nice, too.
