Cool widget! But I must say it would be better without any animations:smile: (too sloooow!)

I like. Thanks.

I did not find it to be slow at all, and I automatically like any widget that can minimize.

Plus slashdot is my daddy.

there is another problem with the script.
the click to expand button works only the first time...

Won't install. If I click "Add+" it simply says "Download Failed" immediately on the download dialog that pops up. I don't know how to manually install exactly, but, simply saving the .zip to the widgets folder with the other widget archives didn't work either.

It's too slooow!
I don't need the animation, would be nice if I could disable that somehow...

Renny: Slashdot has a policy disallowing fetching of news more than once every 30 minutes, and the refresh value in the widget is currently hardcoded to 1 hour.

We'll be updating the widget with some information about this, and we might, if that's what people desire, set the refresh interval to some other value over 30 minutes

How can I refresh newsfeed?
