Basically nice, given all the trouble of taking care of different countries and their holidays (which I have not checked for mine yet; and it would be too much to demand them for the federal states, where there are significant differences).

Still I must report the following inconsistencies for Germany:

(1) the week nos. are WRONG for 2011, e.g. today is week no 19, not 20.

Reason: Jan. 1st, 2011, is not a Monday, so does neither start or count towards the year's first full week according to ISO 8601

http://www.linuxfocus.org/~katja/toolbox/calendar.html

(2) Officially, German weeks start on Sunday too...

(3) The "Auffahrt" holiday is usually named "Himmelfahrt" in Germany

I also subscribe to these formerly posted wishes

- different color or style for week no. column
- highlight color instead of or on top of the fat style for holidays
- all-day- and workday difference calculating capability
- the option to enter a date and year to obtain the appropriate month

Greetings Elmar

Nice widget, but not very useful for me without the country Austria ;-)

Where does it get it’s public holidays data from? How long will the public holidays be up-to-date? Can we have more styles? :-)

Excellent widget for everyone who needs a simple calendar that can display up to 3 months without taking up a lot of space.

The only minor gripe I have with it is that the week number, if enabled, is not offset from the rest of the calendar in any way, which makes it easy to confuse with the first day of the week - at least until early August :D I would find it helpful if the week number were a different color, or maybe put a vertical line or more space between the week number and the first day of the week.

A couple of suggestions: Since there are many countries the calendar doesn't currently display holidays for, it might be useful to have a selection "Country: None" in the configuration dialog that simply displays a naked calendar without any country's holidays. I would find that more useful than having to select another country's holidays just because my own are not available.

And, also in the configuration dialog, instead of saying "Mode: European/American" it would be more obvious what the selection does if you called it "Week begins on: Monday/Sunday".

nice to look at, what would make it a really great app is a built in facility where you can put in appointments etc like you can on your mobile calander with alerts etc linked to your opera so it could save your calander events and you could view it anywhere you want. that would be the bees knees for me, something for you to consider.

Very nice widget! :D

Could you remove the 'calendar' title from both glass skins? Resizing makes it look terrible. And it'd be really nice if one could mark certain days.
