Distance Calculation, Opera application V1.3 Mar 16, 2011 1:58:32 PM

Check the distance between points.

This simple widget can be used to check the distance between some points. E.g. to check the length of your street or diameter of your neighbors garden and compare it with yours.

To add points simply click on the map. Map will be automatically centered over your current location (if you agree to resolve it). If you'd like to calculate distance to some points far away you can use location search located on a status bar.

After selecting two or more points the distance will be displayed on a status bar automatically.

This widget worked initially when I installed it couple of months ago but then stopped. It does not seem to try to connect to internet.

Is there no way to change units of measure? Feet, miles and other options would be useful (for some of us anyway).

If km is the only option, Google Earth is better as no conversion is necessary.

yes, mouse wheel works in an unusual way!

By darklink88 , # Sep 8, 2010 9:34:02 AM

Is it just me, or is the mouse wheel backwards? On Google maps, (and just about anything else) scrolling up zooms in, but here it zooms out.
