Thank you very much!!! It is very convenient and useful tool!

I am a web developer but not very artistic. This is pretty cool for simply icons with nice gradient effects. Very nice job on this.

Thx for this very nice application! Would like to inform users who are asking for a .ico export option in Icon Creator, that this is very easily worked around:
1. Make your icon in Icon Creator and save it as a .png file.
2. Open the .png file in GIMP (can be downloaded for free).
3. Save as a .ico file.
Done.

havent checked in for a little while - great to see the text input feature - just downloaded the new version and looking forward playing around with it.

Ta skooot :o:)

Just updated from an earlier version. This is a neat little widget, I've found it really useful and simple to use. If I can use it and convert it to .ico format anyone can. Good stuff.

Have you thought of adding .ico (Icon Format) to your Icon Creator?
It would seem like a prerequisite (given the name) but it seems to have been missed out.
A great widget otherwise, just a shame it can't make Icons.

By neilpwc , # Dec 23, 2010 10:25:15 PM

Now Icon Creator supports icon export up to 512px. So... next feature should be multiple symbols on one icon.

looks so simple, but actually is pretty catchy

So this is an ICON creator, yet you cannot save the basic ICON Format (.ico) soooo what's the point of this?

By K0D3R , # Sep 30, 2010 1:18:00 AM

256x256 px icons would be good.

I use IcoFX to make icons that have multiple images. The address is: http://icofx.ro/

I don't know about it

By nvanhuu , # Aug 29, 2010 9:16:49 AM

Very very nice.

What about multiple icons in one icon?

But more export options is needed. If you could do a "Export 512px" i would looooove it ;-)

Very nice little program

By sxmaxchine@hotmail.com , # Jun 7, 2010 10:44:33 AM

Skoot: thanks :O) Im really looking forward to that.
Basically this tool means I dont have to keep opening up Photoshop just to create buttons and thats why I LURVE it soooo! :O) but would be good to have more options on the symbol/text input front

Idea number 2: how bout drag and drop of other symbols? or drag and drop insertion of photoshop symbols? (not sure if thats even possible for it to use the photoshop symbol format)
but hoorah! :O)

By Staircase2 , # May 31, 2010 1:58:23 AM

Staircase2: this is nice idea. We can think about text support in next version.

By skooot , # May 27, 2010 10:47:57 AM

This is a fantastic widget.
Is there anyway to input text directly into it though? This would be great
keep up the good work!

By Staircase2 , # May 22, 2010 5:10:19 PM

We're working on support for gif format and ability to change the color of the symbols. New version will be released next week.

By lowik , # May 7, 2010 12:26:21 PM

What are the supported file formats for "Open Image"? I can't seem to see any of my PNG images on disk (using Ubuntu)

By Luchio , # May 6, 2010 9:13:16 PM

Nice, but I can't seem to load any gif images... (clicking open image and selecting a .gif image, clicking ok and nothing happens....)
(Saving the Icons directly in the .ico format would be cool, though p:)
