I would like to suggest new feature. Copy url from playlist for example right click menu. "Copy URL to clipboard" That would be useful when using YouTube Player and after looking some interesting file you could copy URL to for example FVD Suite.

Update sumitted!
If you want to translate the widget please check out this page:

I have the idea of a info window for each video which could show up a download link and further informations like the real address of the video.

Is there any way to copy the link of the video, found via the widget? Maybe i'm blind or something, but i just don't see it. And by the way - i can translate it to Russian.

By Darkworld , # Jun 9, 2010 2:34:37 PM

soon in Portuguese, translated by me :D

A short status report:
Next release will:
- have Italian and Portuguese language support (by thesolver and bean-gt)
- have nice tooltips

YouTube is currently changing the player. That causes some problems. The player sometimes just stops after the video is played. But I'm trying to solve this.
The video download implementation isn't that easy but I'm working on it. I'm not sure if this is possible with widgets techniques... Searching the cache isn't an option at the moment.

To wikidfps:
I guess something like Shift+Mouseclick not closing the search list is a good idea. I'm going to implement this.

Thanks for the feedback!

Dude I can give an idea how to use a Download button np :D See watching any video or music file that is playeable on any site is downloaded on your computer ---> see opera:cash ---> if it can be seen in the cash menu in opera you can somehow link the download function - it will automatically transform it to a *.flv . If not visible in opera:cash in the browser THEN you can see the exact *.temp file in
c: users * username* appData ( or *application data* for XP ) local opera opera cashe folder like * g_000E * witch is synchronized with the time of the first play of the clip and it is the biggest in that folder with *.temp. It is playable by the most of the players but still it could be converted in *.flv

Dude very nice job with the player, since at youtube.com page there is no repeat to watch over and over again one clip. If you work on that player you can really put a DONATE button so people like me that like what you have done can show you, not only with votes. :D So keep the good work .

Shuffle doesn't work when you press the next button. would like to be able to save and load playlists as well.

thanks

Hi and thanks for this widget.

I have a suggestion, when you use the + and search for something you might want to add more then just one video. Now when you add one you have to research to add another.

anyway good work and thanks

I included a download possibility but Opera does not support saving videos at the moment.
Check out this topic for more infos: http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=510831

Perhaps I'm just going to implement a save button for each video which links to the video file (so you have to download it manually video for video).
But lets see what Opera thinks of my wish of implementing the download of binary data.

"Taiwan, province of China" is from from the offical ISO 3166-1 list, but I will just write Taiwan instead in the next release.

Sounds as if you didn't follow the instructions on startup, right?

By Dodwin , # Apr 6, 2010 8:10:57 PM

this app don't work for my opera 10.50 :frown:
search only video on youtube i cant see only the sample video...becase?

By trullo11 , # Apr 6, 2010 3:41:54 PM

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taiwan

there're are some stories about the two Counties above.

By akway , # Apr 2, 2010 9:52:22 AM

I'm sorry that "Taiwan, province of China" described on Country in Preferences of this widget is a big mistake.

TAIWAN AND CHINA ARE DIFFERENT COUNTRIES.

By akway , # Apr 1, 2010 3:54:26 AM

Ok, I'm going to add a download possibility in the next release.

@ Stann:
Perhaps you have a sound blocker for Flash, like FlashMute?

@ seifip:
I guess Opera doesn't support the YouTube video codec (H264), so no way for HTML5.

By Dodwin , # Mar 29, 2010 10:04:03 PM

hmz, i don't have sound, know how to fix it?
