@ All Opera is planning to discontinue Widget development http://my.opera.com/addons/blog/2012/04/24/sunsetting-unite-and-widget

Currently i have no plans to develop this as an extension and this is the end of it

Thank you for using and supporting my widget.

@ srikanth.yaradla

I can't use Opera's widget; it doesn't work at all. This is kind of literally the only functional/usable Twitter widget available here on this site, unfortunately. :/

By Jeysie , # Jul 31, 2011 7:08:10 AM

@ Jeysie . As you see i have not made any updates for long time due to some other commitments. The API has changed a lot and i will need some time to go back and identify the changes to fix them. Currently i am occupied with some other work and cannot work on this.So i suggest you use opera's twitter widget for the time being.

And Sorry for the late response.

I've noticed that Twitter seems to have changed its URLs for individual tweets from "/statuses/" to "/status/", and that the client also doesn't seem to be pulling the correct numbers. Like a tweet will be at http://twitter.com/#!/Razorsaw/status/87244222687756288, but if I click on the client's link for the tweet, it takes me to http://twitter.com/#!/Razorsaw/statuses/87244222687756290 (which doesn't exist).

This problem has been breaking replies (which are never properly connected to the tweet they're replying to), retweets (I either can't RT or end up RTing some completely different tweet), and following links to individual tweets (always get a 404).

Is there any chance of getting these issues fixed?

It works perfectly. Could to open the twitter profile in the own widget when I click on it.

@ philry4n.
Just noticed that this problem doesn't appear in 11.10 final. So please upgrade opera.

By srikanth-yaradla , # May 8, 2011 6:16:45 PM

I'm familiar with that workaround, I'll guess I'll wait until it's fixed. Thanks for the reply

By philry4n , # Dec 28, 2010 2:07:51 PM

@ philry4n
Looks like some problem with the jquery in opera 11.
Try clicking the same reply button twice( it scrolls down in the first attempt but make sure you are clicking the reply button for the same user). I do not have time to fix it now. I know It is disappointing that the widgets (including opera's) are breaking for every major desktop release :frown:

By srikanth-yaradla , # Dec 28, 2010 8:24:25 AM

Hi again, I'm still seeing this problem with Opera 11 Final. When I click the reply button, the widget scrolls down. I have the same problem with another twitter widget made by Opera (twiget).

By philry4n , # Dec 28, 2010 12:27:33 AM

@ philry4n . Please use the stable versions of opera as the beta versions are known to cause the problems. Let me know if you still see some problem with the stable version.Sorry for the late reply.

By srikanth-yaradla , # Dec 21, 2010 6:51:52 AM

hey it's me again, noticing the reply button is not working in latest snapshots after the beta...

By philry4n , # Dec 10, 2010 3:36:05 PM

scratch that, it seems that something is wrong with my installation...

By philry4n , # Nov 29, 2010 6:18:53 AM

F5 causes the Recent, Replies, Direct Message etc to disappear on my Opera 11 Beta.

By philry4n , # Nov 29, 2010 4:46:50 AM

By maria2309 , # Nov 16, 2010 2:45:48 AM

Marked it as 'WontFix' (reporters cant do this) and it disappeared from the issues

By srikanth-yaradla , # Sep 5, 2010 9:49:11 AM

yes, I reported this under bugs but wrote a comment later, that this is not widget-related. How can I remove this reported bug?

By DrillSarge , # Sep 4, 2010 8:26:58 AM

@ Drillsarge Yep thats an issue from twitter (resolved now)

By srikanth-yaradla , # Sep 3, 2010 8:47:16 PM

hi, I cant access twitter anymore. I always get "Unexpected Error. at index 14952: syntax error" at start. tried clearing credentials allow access again but doesnt work.

By DrillSarge , # Sep 3, 2010 4:18:30 PM

@ J1Hundred. auto-refresh is available in non-windows version http://widgets.opera.com/widget/13691/ (but notifications are shown only when the widget is minimized in non-windows).
But in this application notifications are always shown(if enabled). Your recent tweets will be refreshed on clicking the popup notification.

By srikanth-yaradla , # Aug 31, 2010 6:26:32 PM

does it not auto-refresh the recent tweets? i got it to retrieve tweets every 2 minutes, but it is not updating the timeline.
