I can't use Opera's widget; it doesn't work at all. This is kind of literally the only functional/usable Twitter widget available here on this site, unfortunately. :/
@ Jeysie . As you see i have not made any updates for long time due to some other commitments. The API has changed a lot and i will need some time to go back and identify the changes to fix them. Currently i am occupied with some other work and cannot work on this.So i suggest you use opera's twitter widget for the time being.
This problem has been breaking replies (which are never properly connected to the tweet they're replying to), retweets (I either can't RT or end up RTing some completely different tweet), and following links to individual tweets (always get a 404).
Is there any chance of getting these issues fixed?
@ philry4n Looks like some problem with the jquery in opera 11. Try clicking the same reply button twice( it scrolls down in the first attempt but make sure you are clicking the reply button for the same user). I do not have time to fix it now. I know It is disappointing that the widgets (including opera's) are breaking for every major desktop release
Hi again, I'm still seeing this problem with Opera 11 Final. When I click the reply button, the widget scrolls down. I have the same problem with another twitter widget made by Opera (twiget).
@ philry4n . Please use the stable versions of opera as the beta versions are known to cause the problems. Let me know if you still see some problem with the stable version.Sorry for the late reply.
hi, I cant access twitter anymore. I always get "Unexpected Error. at index 14952: syntax error" at start. tried clearing credentials allow access again but doesnt work.
@ J1Hundred. auto-refresh is available in non-windows version http://widgets.opera.com/widget/13691/ (but notifications are shown only when the widget is minimized in non-windows). But in this application notifications are always shown(if enabled). Your recent tweets will be refreshed on clicking the popup notification.
Currently i have no plans to develop this as an extension and this is the end of it
Thank you for using and supporting my widget.
