This widget does what it says and appears to be pretty accurate, but the UI (user interface) is horrible, especially in comparison to some of the other converters available in the Opera Widget Gallery...
I'm not trying to be an a%#hole, but you should really look at trying to match or better the UI offered by other developers.
Looks good, but in my professional field (electronics) we use the term 'Farad' not 'Faradays' as the basic unit of capacity. hence microfarads, nanofarads, picofarads, etc.
Presumably you are aiming at the US market, but the US mis-spells a lot of Englsh words, including the unit of length which is the METRE. A meter is something you measure with (water meter, for example).
Metric units are internationally defined, as are their derived units, and so is the spelling of these units.
With such a good program/widget as this perhaps you could go the extra bit further and get the metric terms right.
Thank you for this utility. It would be nice to have inches not only be displayed with decimals but also (as often used) with multiples of 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, and 1/2. Then it would be more than just a calculator. (I know, the last sentence is a little provocative.)
