Translates the text and web pages using Google Translate API.

Unfortunately this widget is no longer actual, because Google has closed their Translate API.

Opera Versions and Widget Versions:

Opera 11 - Google Translator 2.8+
Opera 10.50-10.63 - Google Translator 2.7
Opera below 10.50 - Google Translator 2.4

Widget Features:

translate text or web page;
resizing widget window;
autodetecting language;
automatic text translation;
custom font family and font size in text fields;
custom position of lists of languages (top, middle, bottom);
you can specify the languages, that will be displayed in the drop-down lists;
hot keys;
automatic addition of new languages that Google will begin to support.

Bună ziua, idioti, eu sunt Vladimir Dracula, şi eu nu acceptă acest tip de tratament faţă de autor, nu este vina lui Google închis API traducere, este vina, aşa cum despre tine toate Taci dracu din gura şi găsi un hobby mai bine altele decât insultarea oameni peste un ecran Google?

Google closed their Translate API so this widget is no longer actual and will not work. This is what its author said on the widget support forum (in Russian). Use a translation extension or something like QTranslate from http://quest-app.appspot.com instead.

Гугль закрыл свой Translate API поэтому виджет больше не актуален и работать не будет. Это было подтверждено его автором в форумной ветке про данный виджет. Можно заменить расширением для перевода или чем-то вроде QTranslate с http://quest-app.appspot.com

Note that the Google Translate API version 1 has been deprecated since December 1st... http://code.google.com/intl/nl-NL/apis/language/translate/v1/getting_started.html

So widgets that use this API will no longer be able to function.

I have the same problems than them since the beginning of december, and its not only this gadget by Dimox, but as well as other google translator app as well, they all stop working. is that google has denied the api?

So google dont want this to work because no ads are visible via this widget ?
Stopped working - tried reinstall no help

It stopped to work in the last days. Getting the "Error Translating". v2.9 with Opera 11.52 here. Any clue?

i have problem with the focus.

i like to switch the window with hot key:ALT +Tab.
but when i switch to this widget, the focus wasn't on the input column.
so i have to use the mouse to focus on the first column, and then input the UNknown word ...
then i found it's no convenient. every time, i should first give the column a focus, then typing....

All in one word:can you give us a short key to focus on the input column
