A "motor" dictionary which translates Danish into fairly readable English. It can guess compound words.

This is a "motor" dictionary, it replaces each Danish word in the original text with an english word which in some context made sense to me. The majority of the words are translated off the top of my head without consulting an authorized dictionary. This does not make "pretty" english sentences, but with a little effort, you can get the essence of the Danish text.
This version has a binary search as suggested by "CBH" and an array of word sets which has been sorted in a special way to work with the Danish letters "Æ","Ø" and "Å". It now has 12640 words. March 2. 2008. This update added 900 words, an export feature so the translations can be further processed and it now works in linux. There is a small issue with transparency in the scrolbar of the textarea.
May 5. 2008. 15600 words and a newfeature which will guess compound words. Improved export function. It has a help page. The source is divided into several documents.
